The department consists of four divisions as well as care and support in its own management and is Danderyd municipality's second-largest department. The position is located in the department for quality and development, whose mission is to support the social administration's managers and employees so that they can offer a social service of high quality, legal security, and a value-creating existence for those we are here for. We are located in newly renovated, fresh premises in Mörby Centrum alongside several of the municipality's departments. There are plenty of meeting and visitor rooms in the Social Administration's own premises as well as in the municipality's meeting park.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a digitalization strategist with us in the social administration, you will have a broad and varied role with a lot of responsibility and, through a supportive approach, the opportunity to make an impact.

Your mission includes ensuring an accessible social service of high quality. You are expected to see opportunities, challenge mindsets and existing processes, and inspire colleagues to continue working with digital methods to develop all of the social administration's operations.

Your tasks will vary according to needs, but will include, among other things:

• Leading, driving, and coordinating digitalization initiatives within the Social Administration at both strategic and operational levels
• Inspiring, educating, and coaching managers and employees on digitalization issues
• Ensuring that there are appropriate processes and methods for digitalization in the operations.
• Transforming the department's needs into concrete projects or actions by capturing needs, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing creative and cost-effective solutions
• Driving the implementation of e-services, automation, AI, and other digital tools
• Participating in municipality-wide digitalization forums regarding strategic digital development issues.
• Working with system management and some administration related to digital tools
• Working with information security and data protection

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

• An academic degree that the employer deems relevant, for example in computer science, informatics, political science, public administration, or equivalent work experience that the employer considers equivalent.
• Experience in driving digitalization within the public sector.
• Very good understanding of business processes and change management.
• Knowledge of regulations such as GDPR, NIS2, and digital accessibility.
• Very good communication skills and the ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing in Swedish.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience in portfolio management or data-driven development.
• Knowledge of e-services, RPA, AI, or innovation management.
• Experience working with benefit calculations, business development, or system management.
• Knowledge of municipal governance, business planning, and management models.
• Experience in business development in social systems.
